Who will have to adhere to the London Plan Energy Strategy?
If you are planning a development within one of the 32 London Boroughs, as part of your planning application a detailed energy strategy will have to be developed for all developments.
What is required for an Energy Strategy?
Dependent on the Borough you are developing in will determine the actual requirements, this can range from a 35% reduction in CO2 emissions across the development to a 50% reduction or more. The Strategy report must follow the reporting guidelines set out within the London Plan.
