Working with local development company, Landford Estates, Energy Report is pleased to have assisted in the SAP calculations and Part L compliance requirements for 9 houses being built on the old Lymington Bus Station site in the Georgian market town on the South Coast.
The developer was insistent that the mews houses would not include the use of Solar Photovoltaic panels, often used to ensure compliance. A number of solutions were proposed to avoid Solar PV, the developer deciding on improved wall build-up construction and an integral gas boiler with flue gas heat recovery to overcome Part L compliance.
