“Sustainability advocate, Friendly & Happy”

Professionally, Stef is a qualified accountant, achieving CIMA accreditation in 2007, and came to Energy Report following over two decades working in the corporate world. Since joining Energy Report full time, she deals with everything accounts, HR and business development. She strives to ensure tasks are achieved correctly and to the highest standards and brings a wealth of knowledge to Energy Report. Her “Work hard, play hard” mantra, paired with a strong dedication to support staff and clients, is the guiding force behind accomplishing her career goals.

Besides her successful career, Stef has many a passion, she is an avid skier and snowboarder, reader and dog-lover. Her ‘bonkers’ personality encourages her to experience life to the fullest: travelling across the world, briefly living in New Jersey and motorbiking. An essential part of her busy life is raising her two daughters.

As an advocate for sustainability, Stef wants to help build Energy Report and encourage the ethical practices of the business. Her goals for the next few years are to embrace further travel, be an exemplary employer and nurture the vision of extended growth to Energy Report.

Tom

Managing Director

“Hard-working, Innovative & Passionate”

As the Managing Director of Energy Report, Tom is driven by a vision of long-lasting sustainability, inspired by his desire to create a better future for his two daughters. His passion for energy efficiency began early in his career while working as an engineer in the wind turbine industry.

In 2008, Tom founded Energy Report, taking on key responsibilities such as building strong relationships with his team and clients, sharing technical knowledge, and overseeing business operations. Tom incorporates honesty into his work, paired with a solution-focused mindset that has allowed his business to grow.

Tom believes in spending time doing the things he loves including skiing, snowboarding, cycling, and spending time on the water. His future goals include visiting Japan, and expanding Energy Report into a widely recognised, award-winning company.

Martyn

“Problem solver, Adaptable & Outdoorsy”

Martyn deals with the practical side of the business. As an onsite member of the team, you may see him at properties taking photos and measuring for energy assessments. In his early days, he started a Structural Engineering degree but went on to begin a 9-year service in the Police. Since a change in career, Martyn enjoys bringing his problem-solving skills to his current role. Guided by the mindset of “treating others how you would like to be treated”, he’s passionate about providing quality in his customer service.

In his spare time, Martyn likes to keep active with interests such as cycling, walking his two cocker spaniels, and watching science fiction and non-reality TV shows.

Stephanie is a Graduate Energy Assessor at Energy Report, Thermal modelling including Overheating and BREEAM. As the company’s BREEAM assessor—an achievement she earned in the past year—she plays a key role in ensuring sustainable and compliant building designs. With a BSc (Hons) in Built Environment, her career path was shaped by a passion for architecture and sustainability.

Outside of work, Stephanie is a dedicated AFC Bournemouth fan and regularly attends matches. She is also passionate about fostering and adoption causes, inspired by her family’s involvement. She enjoys British cult classic films and dreams of travelling to Japan for its rich culture and diverse experiences.

Looking ahead, Stephanie aspires to build strong client relationships and work on larger BREEAM projects—ideally leaving her mark on sustainable buildings for years to come. She values the immediate impact of her work and takes pride in contributing to projects that make a difference.

Greg

“Adventurous, Passionate & Dependable”

After recently completing his PHD in Occupancy Behaviour and Energy Use in Homes, Greg has joined Energy Report as an Energy and Sustainability Consultant. He is responsible for, but not limited to, completing SAP assessments and measuring PSI values. Prior to his degree, Greg was an Architect bringing a breadth of value and experience to the company.

Greg believes in sustainability, animal welfare and equality. A vegan of 7 years, he believes in helping the planet and the people that co-habit it. “Give more than you take” is a motto that drives this compassion. One key life achievement would be helping a charity to build a school in India. He likes to keep himself busy with CrossFit, rock climbing and hiking.

The future looks bright for Greg, with ambitions of having more of his writing published and building onto an already established career. He would also like to visit the sunny South of France and continue to build a sustainable future.

Stephen

SAP Assessor

“Perfectionist, Punctual & Caring”

After an extensive career in the renewable energy industry, Stephen joined Energy Report two years ago. Spanning across roles in insulation, installation and assessments, he is an accredited OCDEA (On-Construction Domestic Energy Assessor), SAP Assessor, and Retrofit Assessor. He’s driven by the finished product and is confident in what he does due to his longevity in the industry.

Outside of work, Stephen enjoys fly fishing, and Italian cuisine. He is also a lover of a good film, with Dune being his favourite due to its futuristic and scientific themes. His tenacity to life is led by his favourite mantra: “If at first you don’t succeed, try again”. And when asked about his values, punctuality was the most prominent – a principle that guides both his professional and personal life.

After already accomplishing many professional achievements, Stephen has no specific goals for the future. Despite the contentment, he would like to explore Las Vegas more and continue his journey of learning and experiences.
