Under the normal programme, building control will ask for a set of tests between the first dwellings, flats or rooms for residential purposes due for completion or sale in each group or subgroup. If tests are satisfactory, at least one set of tests is normally stipulated for every ten relevant units in a group or subgroup. Testing may be more frequent earlier in a run of completions, so potential issues can be addressed promptly.
