Part G refers to the water efficiency requirements specified in building regulations, focusing on reducing water consumption in residential properties. Water efficiency calculations are now a requisite for building regulations sign off, a water efficiency calculation report is commonly required at pre-commencement (Design stage) and then gain just prior to practical completion to offer evidence to Building Control that the water efficiency measures have been carried out and the minimum requirements have been met.
