Part G – WATER EFFICIENCY

Part G refers to the water efficiency requirements specified in building regulations, focusing on reducing water consumption in residential properties. These regulations aim to promote sustainable development by encouraging the use of water-saving technologies and practices in new residential buildings.

Water efficiency calculations are now a requisite for building regulations sign off, a water efficiency calculation report is commonly required at pre-commencement (Design stage) and then gain just prior to practical completion to offer evidence to Building Control that the water efficiency measures have been carried out and the minimum requirements have been met.

Making it work for you

We offer Design stage water calculations to provide advice on the sanitaryware to be modelled into the build to adhere to specific planning requirements.

Once you’ve completed your build, we provide the As Built Water calculations using the actual installation items to ensure you achieve compliance.
